MADRID, June 14 (Reuters) - Luis Aragones is eyeing a job in charge of a national team after ending his spell at Turkish club Fenerbahce, the former Spain coach said on Sunday.

"I'd like to carry on coaching abroad because it's more interesting for me given my age," the 70-year-old, who was sacked after leading Fenerbahce to fourth place in the league this season, told Spanish television station Telecinco.

"I hope to get a role with a national team outside Spain, that would be the best thing for me," added Aragones, who led Spain to victory at Euro 2008 before moving to Turkey.
