Europe stock futures signal gains ahead of Goldman
PARIS, July 14 (Reuters) - European stock index futures pointed to a higher open on Tuesday following strong gains on Wall Street and ahead of results from U.S. bellwethers such as Goldman Sachs (GS.N: Quote, Profile, Research).
At 0606 GMT, futures for the Eurostoxx 50 STXEc1, Germany's DAX FDXc1 and the French CAC 40 FCEc1 were up between 0.5 and 1 percent.
U.S. shares gained more than 2 percent on Monday as bullish analyst comments on the financial sector reignited hopes that banks' quarterly results could be stronger than expected. (Reporting by Blaise Robinson, editing by Atul Prakash)
