STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Jarvis rises on promising outlook
Shares in Jarvis Plc (JRVS.L) rise 16 percent after the rail engineer posts full-year results in line with its expectations and says its prospects beyond 2009-10 appear much more promising.
KPB Peel Hunt's Andrew Nussey says Jarvis has a leading position in the UK rail industry and is well positioned to benefit from the anticipated increases in rail infrastructure spending.
Furthermore, with a restructured cost base the potential for rapid earnings recovery is high, says Nussey, who reinstates a "buy" rating on the stock.
