STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Findel up as fundraising pressures ease
Shares in Findel (FDL.L), the British home shopping and education supplies firm, jump 26 percent to 52 pence as fears subside over its ability to raise equity finance, traders say.
Findel shares plunged 40 percent in May when the company revealed it was to delay the announcement of its full-year results and was considering an equity issue.
"Worries about raising debt finance have eased and we're certainly more comfortable with that around the 50 pence figure. Below 50 pence and the company was regarded as a potential bid target," a trader says.
An analyst, who declines to be identified, says: "It looks like the company is now more comfortable with its ability to raise finance via a rights issue or placing."
