PARIS, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Defender Eric Abidal and midfielder Jeremy Toulalan will miss France's World Cup playoff second leg against Ireland in Paris on Wednesday through injury, the French Football Federation (FFF) said on Sunday.

Abidal and Toulalan will not be replaced in the squad, the FFF said on its website (www.fff.fr) without specifying the nature of the injurie.

France are well placed to make next year's finals in South Africa after beating Ireland 1-0 in the first leg at Croke Park on Saturday.
