(Adds details)

LONDON, July 15 (Reuters) - British bulk and parcel delivery company Business Post BPG.L said on Wednesday its first quarter trading was in line with management expectations, boosted by growth at its UK Mail business.

Underlying group revenues in the three months to end June were in line with the previous year, adjusted to the number of working days in the period, it said. Actual revenues were down 4 percent year-on-year on an unadjusted basis.

Business Post said its UK Mail unit grew at a satisfactory rate from recent contract wins.

The company, which collects about 1.7 billion mail items per year, said it planned to change the name of the group to UK Mail Group in October 2009. (Reporting by Anya Dabrowska; Editing by Lorraine Turner)
