STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-D/S Norden rises on upgrade -traders

Danish bulk shipper D/S Norden (DNORD.CO) rises 6.1 percent to six-month highs, with two local traders citing a recommendation upgrade to "buy" from "sell" from a big Nordic brokerage.

One trader also points to an improving outlook for shipping, reflected in the Baltic Exchange's main sea freight index .BADI, which tracks rates to ship dry commodities.

The index, up 37.5 percent since late October, rose on Friday above 4,000 points for the first time since June.

Shares in D/S Norden, which is scheduled to report third-quarter earnings on Thursday, are among the top-three gainers in Copenhagen's blue-chip index . For more double click on [ID:nLD5385]
