WINS
Heikki Kovalainen's victory for McLaren in Hungary made the Finn the 100th driver to win a round of the Formula One world championship since the first race in 1950 (the tally includes the Indy 500 when that was part of the calendar from 1950 to 1960).
McLaren have now won the last three races (Lewis Hamilton won in Britain and Germany). The team last won four consecutive grands prix in 2005 with Kimi Raikkonen and Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya.
Five drivers have won races this year (Hamilton, Kovalainen, Ferrari's Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen and Poland's Robert Kubica for BMW-Sauber).
Kovalainen had started 27 grands prix before his first win, putting him ahead of the likes of double world champion Fernando Alonso (a winner after 30 starts) and Raikkonen (36).
Ferrari have won 206 races, McLaren 161 and Williams 113 in the all-time list.
