NSea Crude-Forties steady; Norwegian grades offered

 * Only one Forties offer in afternoon window
 * Statoil indicates five new cargoes for December lifting
 
 LONDON, Nov 19 (Reuters) - North Sea crude oil differentials
were largely steady on Thursday with little activity within the
formal afternoon trading window to move levels.
 Statoil indicated five new cargoes for lifting in December.
 
 FORTIES FOT-E
 * Within the afternoon trading window PetroCanada offered
its Forties cargo for loading Dec. 14-16 at dated BFOE flat,
about 15 cents above the previous deal. The last deal heard done
was on Tuesday, when Vitol sold Statoil a Nov. 28-30 loading
cargo at dated minus 25 cents.
 * No bids or deals within the window
 * Vitol is now reported to be holding eight of the first 11
Forties cargoes loading in December, having held on to seven
cargoes passed down the paper chains; Vitol's trading strategy
was still unclear
 
 NORWEGIAN GRADES
 * Norwegian state oil producer Statoil indicated crude oil
cargoes for lifting in December for sale at the following
levels:
 - Oseberg for loading around Dec. 18 "as available"
 - Statfjord for Dec. 17 at dated BFOE plus 65 cents
 - Gullfaks for Dec. 16 at dated BFOE plus $1.35
 - Grane for Dec. 13 at dated BFOE minus 50 cents
 - Norne for Dec. 15 at dated BFOE plus $3.80 cif Rotterdam
 
 REFINING MARGINS <REF/MARGIN1>
 * Complex refining margins for North Sea Brent in Rotterdam
rose to around $3.10 on Thursday, up from about $2 on Wednesday
and an average over the past five days of about $3.20, according
to Reuters models.
 
 SWAPS
 * Contracts for Differences (CFDs) continued to show a
steady contango. The previous day's values are in brackets:
 23-27/11 Jan -110 (-111)
 30-04/12 Jan  -91  (-91)
 7-11/12  Jan  -74  (-74)
 14-18/12 Jan  -57  (-57)
 21-24/12 Jan  -40  (-40)
 29-31/12 Jan  -23  (-24)
