LONDON, April 19 (Reuters) - AZ Alkmaar clinched their second Dutch league title with three games to spare.
Everton beat Manchester United on penalties in their FA Cup semi to set up a meeting with Chelsea in next month's final. ENGLAND

Everton booked their place in the final for the first time since 1995 when they beat Manchester United 4-2 on penalties following a 0-0 draw after extra time in a drab game.
Former United goalkeeper Tim Howard was Everton's hero, saving the first two penalties before Phil Jagielka scored the deciding spot-kick.
In the league, Newcastle United slipped nearer relegation with a 1-0 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur while West Bromwich Albion look doomed after losing 4-2 to Manchester City.
