Rugby-Ireland hooker Flannery ruled out of Lions tour

LONDON, May 20 (Reuters) - Ireland hooker Jerry Flannery has been ruled out of the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa with an elbow injury, the BBC reported on Wednesday.

Flannery chipped a bone in his elbow during a training session with the Lions.

Ireland's Rory Best and Scotland's Ross Ford are the hookers on the standby list.
