KUWAIT, Feb 22 (Reuters) - Kuwait resumed oil exports on Sunday after a halt caused by adverse weather conditions, which also affected Iran, a spokesman of a Kuwaiti state oil company said on Sunday.

Top oil exporter Saudi Arabia had no interruptions in its crude flow to international markets, a spokesman for state oil company Saudi Aramco said. For details, see [ID:nLM41960]

"We resumed exports this afternoon," Ahmad al-Muzaiel of the Kuwait National Petroleum Co told Reuters by telephone.

Kuwait, the world's seventh-largest oil exporter, suspended its more than 2 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil shipments early on Sunday, Muzaeil said earlier. [ID:nLM47895]

Bad weather extended through the northern Gulf and exports from Iran's main crude oil terminal Kharg Island have been intermittent since last Wednesday due to high winds. [ID:nLM55097]
