ETF Securities sees outflow from gold, platinum ETCs
LONDON, Sept 22 (Reuters) - ETF Securities said it saw small outflows from its gold- and platinum-backed exchange-traded commodities last week, but another inflow into its silver-backed product.
Holdings of ETF's Physical Gold (PHAU.L) ETC slipped 4 percent to 1.486 million ounces in the week to September 21, while the amount of metal backing its Physical Platinum XPT= ETC slid 5 percent to 187,628 ounces.
However, its Physical Silver XAG= product saw a 6 percent inflow which brought its holdings to 12.09 million ounces, the highest since end January.
More than 100 of ETF Securities' AIG-linked ETCs were suspended from trade on Wednesday September 17, the company said. However, its physically backed ETCs were not affected. [ID:nLI428098]
