Aug 22 (Reuters) - Sports news in brief from around the world:

* Hungarian club Budapest Honved have been ordered to play their next European club match behind closed doors following racist conduct by their supporters and the displaying of an illicit banner during an Intertoto Cup match.

European soccer's ruling body UEFA said on Friday the club had been given a total of two matches behind closed doors for the events during the July game against Austrian side Sturm Graz, but that the second match would be suspended for a five-year probationary period.

Sturm were fined 25,000 euros for improper conduct by their supporters during the same match which the Austrian club won 2-1.

* Soccer - Sevilla will play Andalucian rivals Malaga on Saturday in a tribute match in honour of Antonio Puerta, the versatile left back/midfielder who died after collapsing on the pitch during the opening match of last season.

"There will be a full house on Saturday and the match deserves it," club president Jose Maria del Nido told reporters on Friday. "There is no better way to remember the left-footed diamond."

* Soccer - Sevilla will not sign a replacement for Ivory Coast striker Arouna Kone who tore his cruciate ligament in a friendly against Guinea on Wednesday.

"We have enough players to cover the loss of Kone and we aren't going to sign anyone. The squad is complete," Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido told reporters on Friday.

* Soccer - Real Madrid defender Pepe believes the club will be able to cover for the loss of Robinho if the Brazilian forward leaves for Chelsea before the transfer window closes.  Continued...
