(Updates with play resuming)

BANGALORE, India, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Play resumed in the fourth one-day international between England and India on Sunday following a second rain stoppage.

India, put in to bat, had reached 106 for one from 17 overs when rain interrupted play for a second time.

The match, reduced to 44 overs per side after the first stoppage, was further shortened to 22 overs per side.

Aggressive opener Virender Sehwag was 61 not out, his second successive fifty, and Gautam Gambhir was on 30 after Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed by paceman Stuart Broad for 11.

England are looking to turn around their poor run after losing the first three games in the seven-match series.
