NY pension fund taps Bank of America
NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York state's pension fund hired Bank of America (BAC.N) and Parish Capital to manage a total of $550 million (398.45 million pounds) of pension funds as part of an expansion of its private equity portfolio, the comptroller said Friday.
"The Fund will allocate $350 million to Parish Capital, with $250 million of that directed toward co-investment opportunities and $100 million directed toward fund investments," Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said in a statement.
He added Bank of America will get $200 million for fund investments.
