LONDON (Reuters) - The government will announce its pre-budget report in parliament at 12:30 p.m. on December 9, a Treasury official said on Wednesday.
The statement by Chancellor Alistair Darling will give an update on public finances and set out policies ahead of a general election due by June 2010.
