ISTANBUL, Dec 24 (Reuters) - Turkish power generator Enerjisa has signed a deal with a consortium led by French group Alstom (ALSO.PA) to provide equipment for three hydroelectric power stations, Enerjisa said on Wednesday.

Enerjisa, owned by Sabanci Holding (SAHOL.IS) and Austrian power company Verbund (VERB.VI), said the power stations, with a combined capacity of 410 megawatts, were planned to go into operation in 2010 and 2011.

Enerjisa, whose existing production capacity is 455 megawatts, is in the process of building nine new hydroelectric power plants with a total 1000 MW capacity and also a thermal power plant, a natural gas-fired power plant and wind power plants. (Editing by David Holmes)
