Brief-Soccer-Scunthorpe make immediate return to Championship
LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) - Scunthorpe United made an immediate return to the English Championship (second division) when they came from behind to beat Millwall 3-2 in a thrilling League One playoff final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Scunthorpe, relegated a year ago, took the lead through Matt Sparrow scored before two goals in two minutes from Millwall's Gary Alexander put the London side 2-1 ahead at halftime.
Winger Martyn Woolford created a second for Sparrow to make it 2-2 with 20 minutes to go before scoring the winner himself just five minutes from time.
