TUNIS, May 24 (Reuters) - CS Sfaxien won the Tunisian Cup with a penalty deep into extra time to beat US Monastir 1-0 in Sunday's final at Rades.

Issam Merdassi netted the late spot kick for Sfaxien after the two sides had battled through almost 120 minutes without a goal.

It was Sfaxien's fourth Tunisian Cup triumph. Monastir were making their first appearance in the final.
