STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Stocks up as Wall Street bounces
European shares are higher following gains on Wall Street, where the market bounces back from Friday's selloff ahead of a busy week on the earnings and macro data fronts.
At 1401 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 index of top European shares is up 0.6 percent at 1,014.90 points, near the high for the day.
Oil shares are among the top gainers as crude oil futures rise above $81, with BP (BP.L) up 1.7 percent and Total (TOTF.PA) up 1.2 percent, while insurers lose ground, with Dutch bancassurer ING Group NV (ING.AS) down 13 percent after saying it will split the company in two, shrinking itself into a smaller Europe-focused bank, and launch a 7.5 billion euro rights issue.
