Talvivaara repeats Sotkamo output to start in Oct

HELSINKI, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Finnish miner Talvivaara (TALV.L) reiterated on Monday that output at its Sotkamo nickel mine in northern Finland would begin next month.

"This remains our view," Chief Financial Officer Saila Miettinen-Lahde told Reuters.

Talvivaara has said it expects annual output of 33,000 tonnes of nickel Sotkamo site, and it has a 10-year agreement with Russia's Norilsk Nickel (GMKN.MM) for all nickel and cobalt output.

Sotkamo is also expected to produce zinc and copper.
