Medgaz pipeline start-up delayed - Medgaz spokesman

MADRID, Nov 9 (Reuters) - The Medgaz pipeline to send natural gas from Algeria to Southern Spain will be fully operational from around June 2010, a spokesman from the Medgaz consortium said on Monday.

"(Medgaz Chairman) Pedro Miro told journalists on Saturday that tests on the pipeline will start in March and the pipeline will be fully operational around June," a spokesman for the consortium said.
