Iberia accepts 45/55 BA merger-Finanzas.com

MADRID, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Iberia (IBLA.MC) has decided to accept a merger deal with British Airways (BAY.L) that will give the Spanish firm 45 percent of the new company and BA 55 percent, website Finanzas.com reported on Thursday.

Iberia shares were up 9.77 percent at 2.18 euros at 1128 GMT and BA was up 6.5 percent at 2.13 pounds.
