Severn Trent profits up
LONDON (Reuters) - Water company Severn Trent (SVT.L) said on Thursday its full year pretax profit rose 15.8 percent to 469.5 million pounds, while the dividend was hiked 6.8 percent.
The company, currently awaiting a court fine after being found guilty of lying about leakages, said it was on track to grow dividends by 3 percent above the rate of inflation at least until 2010.
