MEXICO CITY, March 1 (Reuters) - Mexico shut down its Coatzacoalcos and Cayo Arcas oil exporting ports in the Gulf of Mexico due to bad weather on Sunday, and its Dos Bocas port remained closed.

The three ports handle the bulk of oil exports from Mexico, a top supplier of crude to the United States.

Unanticipated delays to oil exports can force state energy company Pemex to cut production as Mexico has limited storage capacity at its oil installations.
