Mexico's strike-hit Penoles says it can meet demand
MEXICO CITY, March 2 (Reuters) - Latin America's largest metals processing plant in northern Mexico, whose precious metals refinery arm has been hit by a three-week strike, will have enough gold and silver to meet client needs for "months," the plant's owner, Penoles, said on Monday.
Penoles spokesman Leopoldo Lopez said the company was also planning to refine gold and silver abroad in Canada, Eastern Europe and South America to fill orders not covered by existing inventories. (Reporting by Mica Rosenberg)
