Barclays sells $2.15 bln government-backed bonds-IFR
NEW YORK, March 2 (Reuters) - Barclays Bank (BARC.L: Quote, Profile, Research) on Monday sold $2.15 billion in three-year bonds backed by the U.K. in the 144a private placement market, said International Financing Review, a Thomson Reuters service.
The sale included $1 billion in three-year fixed-rate debt priced at 149 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries, and $1.15 billion in three-year floating-rate notes, priced to yield 80 basis points over the three-month London interbank offered rate, IFR said. Barclays was the sole bookrunner on the sale. (Reporting by Karen Brettell; Editing by Dan Grebler)
