 LOS ANGELES, May 10 (Reuters) - Following are the top 10
films at the North American box office for the three-day
weekend beginning on May 8, led by the new release "Star Trek,"
according to studio estimates compiled on Sunday by Reuters.
 1 (*) Star Trek ...... $72.5 million
 2 (1) Wolverine ...... $27.0 million
 3 (2) Ghosts of Girlfriends Past .... $10.5 million
 4 (3) Obsessed ....... $ 6.6 million
 5 (4) 17 Again ....... $ 4.4 million
 6 (*) Next Day Air ... $ 4.0 million
 7 (6) The Soloist .... $ 3.6 million
 8 (5) Monsters vs. Aliens ........... $ 3.4 million
 9 (7) Earth .......... $ 2.5 million
10 (8) Hannah Montana: The Movie ..... $ 2.4 million
 NOTE: Last weekend's ranking in parentheses. * = new
release. "Star Trek" grossed $4 million more from Thursday
previews.

distributed by Paramount Pictures, a unit of Viacom Inc
(VIAb.N).
 "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" was released by 20th Century
Fox, a unit of News Corp NWSA.0.
 "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and "17 Again" were released
by Warner Bros. Pictures, a unit of Time Warner Inc (TWX.N).
 "Obsessed" was released by Screen Gems, a division of Sony
Corp's (6758.T) Columbia Pictures.
 "Next Day Air" was distributed by privately held Summit
Entertainment.
 "Earth" was released by Disneynature Films and "Hannah
Montana: The Movie" was released by Walt Disney Pictures, both
