Conoco: normal ops at LA refinery over weekend

HOUSTON, Oct 4 (Reuters) - ConocoPhillips (COP.N) said on Thursday normal operations at the Wilmington plant of its 139,000 barrel per day (bpd) Los Angeles-area refining complex were expected to be restored over the weekend as the plant recovers from a Wednesday power outage.

Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N) said on Thursday its 135,000 bpd total-throughput-capacity refinery in Wilmington, California, which was hit by the same Wednesday electricity loss, was continuing its restart process.
