Nova Scotia government falls - Canadian media
OTTAWA, May 4 (Reuters) - Opposition parties in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia defeated the minority Conservative government on Monday in a financial vote in the legislature, local media reported.
The government, led by Premier Rodney MacDonald, had just presented its annual budget. The government's defeat will likely lead to an election in early June. The Atlantic province last went to the polls in in 2006. (Reporting by Randall Palmer; editing by Rob Wilson)
