Los Angeles pension fund may fire Aldus
SAN FRANCISCO, May 4 (Reuters) - The board of the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions fund will vote on May 7 on whether to fire Aldus Equity Partners due to concerns raised by New York's probe of improper fees paid by private equity funds to win state pension fund business, an official with the California fund said on Monday.
Earlier on Monday, Connecticut Treasurer Denise Nappier said the state is terminating its investment agreement with Dallas-based private equity firm Aldus after it was caught up in the criminal and civil probe of the New York State pension fund. (Reporting by Jim Christie; Editing by Dan Grebler)
