BP reports Texas City gasoline unit upset -filing

HOUSTON, June 7 (Reuters) - BP Plc (BP.L) reported a malfunction in gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit No. 3 at its 467,000 barrel per day (bpd) Texas City, Texas, refinery on Saturday, according to a notice filed Sunday with state pollution regulators.

The malfunction triggered flaring at the refinery, according to the notice filed with the Texas Commission Environmental Quality. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Diane Craft)
