LOOP to halt crude oil tanker offloads due to storm
HOUSTON, Nov 8 (Reuters) - The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port plans to stop offloading crude oil at noon Sunday CST (1800 GMT) from tankers in the Gulf of Mexico due to deteriorating sea conditions ahead of Hurricane Ida, said a spokeswoman on Sunday.
The LOOP will continue to supply U.S. Gulf Coast refineries with crude oil in storage onshore, LOOP spokeswoman Barb Hestermann said. (Reporting by Erwin Seba, editing by Maureen Bavdek)
