Southern Copper's operations fine after Peru quake
LIMA, July 8 (Reuters) - Operations of Southern Copper (SPC.LM) (PCU.N) in Peru were not affected by the earthquake that rattled Arequipa, the miner said on Tuesday.
"Everything has continued operating," Mauricio Pero, Southern's general director of operations, told Reuters.
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck southern Peru early on Tuesday, startling residents in Arequipa, the Andean country's second-largest city. (Reporting by Maria Luisa Palomino; Writing by Dana Ford)
