Delay gives court time in Chrysler case-US official
WASHINGTON, June 8 (Reuters) - An order by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Monday to delay the sale of most of bankrupt automaker Chrsyler's assets to Fiat appears to be a move to give the court more time to consider the case, an administration offical said.
"We understand this to be an administrative extension designed to allow sufficient time for the Court to make a determination on the merits of the request for a stay," the official said. (Reporting by Doug Palmer; editing by Chris Wilson)
