 April 8 (Reuters) - Metropolitan Life Global Funding I, a
unit of U.S. life insurer MetLife Inc (MET.N: Quote, Profile, Research), on Wednesday
sold $230 million of two-year GIC backed notes in the 144a
private placement market, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.
 Morgan Stanley was the sole bookrunning manager for the
sale.
