BEFORE THE BELL-GE shares up after NBC Univeral valuation

NEW YORK, Nov 9 (Reuters) - General Electric CO (GE.N) shares rose 1.6 percent to $15.57 in premarket trade on Monday after a source said GE and Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O) agreed on a valuation of around $30 billion for a joint venture between NBC Universal and Comcast. (CMCSA.O). [ID:nN08209497]

Comcast shares were unchanged at $14.59.
