U.S. crude futures rise $2 on storm, weak dollar
NEW YORK, Nov 9 (Reuters) - U.S. crude oil futures rose more than $2 on Monday on the weak dollar and the impact of Tropical Storm Ida on Gulf Coast oil and natural gas production and operations.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, at 11:05 a.m. EST (1605 GMT), December crude CLZ9 was up $2.06, or 2.66 percent, at $79.49 a barrel, trading from $77.77 to $79.57. (Reporting by Robert Gibbons)
