BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania, July 9 (Reuters) - Martina Eberl of Germany and Lee Seon-hwa of South Korea withdrew from the U.S. Women's Open on Thursday due to injury, officials said.
Eberl pulled out after playing nine holes because of a wrist injury. She was on nine over par after starting from the 10th.
Lee, playing in the same group as Eberl, quit the tournament due to a back injury after shooting nine-over-par 80.
American Christina Kim, the third member of the group, shot one-over-par 72.
