UPDATE 1-Williams Transco Gulf natgas supply seen back Tues
(Adds details)
NEW YORK, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Pipeline operator Williams Cos (WMB.N) said Tuesday natural gas supply losses on its Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line (Transco) system following Tropical Storm Ida were at about 150 million cubic feet per day, down from 250 mmcfd supply lost on Monday.
The company expected most, if not all, of the Gulf of Mexico supply to its system to return to normal later Tuesday or on Wednesday, a spokesman said.
Despite the supply losses, capacity and throughput on the system remained normal, with any lost supply made up from gas in storage or from other pipeline interconnects, he added.
Ida was downgraded to a tropical depression on Tuesday after coming ashore near Mobile, Alabama.
The 10,500-mile, 8.4 billion cubic-feet-per-day Transco pipeline system delivers gas from the Gulf coast to the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. (Reporting by Eileen Moustakis; Editing by Lisa Shumaker)
