Obama says Ghana model for rest of Africa

ACCRA, July 11 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Saturday that Ghana could be a model of success for other African countries and that he chose to visit following a G8 summit to show that "Africa is not separate from world affairs."

Obama, meeting Ghana President John Atta Mills on his first presidential visit to sub-Saharan Africa, also expressed the belief that the country's economy had been well-managed.
