Argentina's Pampa posts 254.7 million peso profit

BUENOS AIRES, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Pampa Energia (PAM.BA), Argentina's biggest integrated energy company said on Wednesday its nine-month net profit was 254.7 million pesos ($66.3 million), giving no comparison for the same period a year ago.

Pampa Energia is the third most heavily weighted stock on Argentina's benchmark MerVal index .MERV. It controls electricity company Edenor (EDN.BA) and power transmission firm Transener (TRA.BA). ($1 = 3.8425 pesos as of Sept. 30) (Reporting by Jorge Otaola; writing by Helen Popper and Andre Grenon)
