AFTER THE BELL-3Com shares jump after HP deal announced
NEW YORK, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Shares of 3Com Corp (COMS.O) shot up more than 35 percent in extended trading on Wednesday after Hewlett-Packard Co (HPQ.N) said it agreed to buy the network equipment maker for $2.7 billion. For details see [ID:nN11380084].
Shares of 3Com last traded up 34.4 percent to $7.65 while HP shares slipped 0.7 percent to $49.65.
