US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St turns higher on tech shares, Intel
NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - The Dow and S&P 500 indexes turned positive in early trading on Thursday, led by gains in technology stocks, erasing losses shortly after the open.
* The Nasdaq added gains as shares of Intel Corp (INTC.O: Quote, Profile, Research) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD.N: Quote, Profile, Research) rose after the chip makers said they have settled all outstanding legal disputes, including antitrust litigation and patent-licensing issues. * The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI was up 15.79 points, or 0.15 percent, at 10,307.05. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX was up 2.42 points, or 0.22 percent, at 1,100.93.
