Shell says Deer Park crude units at planned rates
HOUSTON, May 12 (Reuters) - Shell Oil Co (RDSa.L) said on Tuesday afternoon the two crude units at its 340,000 barrel per day (bpd) joint-venture refinery in Deer Park, Texas, were at planned production rates following recovery from a Monday morning power and steam outage.
The refinery's coking unit was also at planned rates Tuesday afternoon, said Shell spokeswoman Emily Oberton. The refinery's gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit was in prestartup, while the hydrocracker and hydrotreater were restarting. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by David Gregorio)
