Intel, AMD rise after legal disputes settlement
NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Shares of Intel Corp (INTC.O) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD.N) rose on Thursday after the chip makers said they have settled all outstanding legal disputes, including antitrust litigation and patent licensing issues. For details see [ID:nN12410647].
Intel will pay AMD $1.25 billion as part of the settlement.
Intel shares last traded up 1.5 percent at $20.13 and AMD rallied 25.4 percent to $6.67. (Editing by James Dalgleish)
