Deere, the world's largest maker of agricultural equipment, reported higher-than-expected quarterly profit on Wednesday and raised its fiscal-year outlook. Deere shares jumped 6.3 percent to $109.17, CNH Global was up 6 percent to $36.56 and Agco gained 5 percent to $37.76, all on the New York Stock Exchange.

DOLLAR THRIFTY AUTOMOTIVE GROUP INC. (DTG.N)
