White House optimistic on climate, health bills
ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE, May 14 (Reuters) - The White House believes the committee spearheading new energy legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives can complete climate change and health care reform bills, spokesman Robert Gibbs said on Thursday.
"I think there's still a lot of reason to believe that we can get both done," Gibbs told reporters on board Air Force One. (Reporting by Jeff Mason; editing by Todd Eastham)
