Burke, Roth catch wedding "Fever" at Hallmark

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Delta Burke and Andrea Roth are starring in "Bridal Fever," a Hallmark Channel original movie set to air next year.

Roth ("Rescue Me") will play Gwen Green, an aspiring editor who is desperate to find Mr. Right. Gwen is assigned to work with top romance novelist Dahlia Marchand (Burke), who introduces her to a handsome man ready to settle down. With everything starting to move quickly, Gwen starts wondering whether the perfect wedding is really what she's looking for.

"It's a very cute script," said David Kenin, exec VP programming at Hallmark Channel. "It's about human relations, about people caring about other people. And our audience just loves weddings and marriage and celebrating long unions."

The movie is in production in Toronto.

Burke recently appeared on ABC's "Boston Legal." Roth plays Janet Gavin on FX's "Rescue Me."
